This tumble offers easy-sip, no-spill commuting. Virtually unbreakable, this lightweight, vacuum-insulated thermos travels to work or your favorite recreation spot. On arrival, and for hours afterward, coffee, tea, or soup will still be hot. Or lemonade, iced tea, or a sports drink will still be chilled. It’s compact (7-1/2 inches high) and handsome. I love the travel tumblers in fact I have two. The problem is I have damaged one of the lids and need to replace it (the lid). The bottom showes JMH (0.4L) 0396.

Is it possible to replace just the lid?

    Thanks for your help.

Do you have an 800 number?

The below is from an email from Amazon I got during the last week in February (close to the 28th); One month after the order of something that was listed in stock.

    Hello from Amazon.com.

We’re writing about the order you placed on January 30 2009 07:07 PST (Order# ##########). Unfortunately, we are unable to ship the item(s) as soon as we expected and need to provide you with a new estimate of when the item(s) may be delivered:

“Thermos Nissan 14-Ounce Stainless-Steel Tumbler, Espresso”

    [Kitchen]

    Estimated arrival date: 04/02/2009 – 04/13/2009

THis is after multiple complaints that the item stated it was in stock. Again this was ordered on JANUARY 30th and they are stating it is delayed until APRIL! You Think? Delayed much? Be careful. It seems if you don’t pay for them to SHIP, then they treat you like you don’t deserve customer service.

To give an example of a company that honors its Free Shipping and treats it cusomter’s with some respect. I ordered an IPOD Touch from Apple. on February 28th, with Free Shipping.

Here is how that is going:

Yes – from CHINA to Connecticut in 2 days. I just wanted to make it clear, this review is for Amazon’s Shipping policy that has seemed to go downhill this year.

The Product itself I would rate 3.5 stars – 4 stars. Keeps stuff hot. Great to put coffee/tea in and travel. I have not had any issues with it “leaking”.

I just received this thermos as a present from my boyfriend. He had it one day shipped because I was devastated that my old Target brand mug started to smell. I was very excited as I promptly received this item.

I just came from the sink to wash it out before I use it tomorrow. I tipped it over with the cover securely fastened. It leaked. A continuous stream leaks out when I turn the tumbler upside down. Now this is advertised as “This tumbler offers easy-sip, no-spill commuting.” What a load of crap. I am beyond disappointed and the seller is going to get an e-mail from me. So much for one day shipping on an item that turned out to be a big disappointment. Not a good mug for a commuting student.

I guess my expectations were greater than the reality. It’s a nice travel mug. I don’t think it’s worth the price being charged. I got warm coffee at about 2 hours (That is a long way from the 3 to 5 I have seen in various claims.) As long as you don’t expect too much you’ll probably be satisfied but I’m not. Yes, my lid leaks as well.

This is horribly made. Tumbler leaked hot coffee all over when tilted. Is not sealed at all around flap that covers drinking hole. You can actually see light through several areas when holding lid up. Don’t know why a company would make a cup that was so well insulated but has so many areas on the lid for hot drinks to leak and for your hot drink to get cool. Would not recommend at all.
